Twin Trails Hitch hat pin - Sand Hill Turquoise & Sea Glass Sterling Silver

This piece is a variation of a "cowboy toothpick". It has a twisted square wire body topped with a teardrop-shaped Sand Hill turquoise cab and two pieces of white sea glass.

When I approached making a cowboy toothpick, one of my biggest fears was the very real possibility of such a valuable piece slipping out of your hatband and getting lost. To avoid that, I curved the end of the pin and embellished the end with a domed sterling silver flower. Hook it under your hat band and it will stay secure no matter how much your horse might buck!

And with that, the Twin Trails Hitch was born!

The entire piece is 3 3/8 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide.

With the exception of the turquoise cab and the sea glass, this entire piece is made out of sterling silver or fine silver.
